Will Raccoons get my fish?

Yes…but… Many small ponds including preform tubs will certainly experience this issue more often. Slightly larger ponds fair mulch better, because the raccoon can’t simply stand at the edge and swipe for the fish. We have found over the years Koi are particularly at risk during spawning. The koi search for shallow water to lay and fertilize their eggs and do not pay much attention to predators during spawning.
